Using the same technique as for face #8, and then later trying to add colour into the mix. The colour did not turn out well.

New sketch using Corel Painter X, and I’m quite surprised at how well it turned out but it still doesn’t beat good old fashioned pencil and paper. No real significance, just something I started drawing and ‘Free’ seemed the only appropriate thing to name it.

Apr 19th 2008 The Maidservant
This is a drawing of one of my characters, Paige, and this is a depiction of her during the early years of her service as a maidservant to the mountain king.
Though I never drawn this, her face is actually scarred and burned, which is why she hides her face with hair bangs and cloth.
Made this during the crux of mid-semester assessments, I’m quite pleased with how how the cloak turned out but not too happy about the skirt. She has no hands because that’s the point where I realised I was wasting precious time and stopped.
